EHS MANAGER

EHS MANAGER

Reporting directly to the Plant Director with a functional reporting line to the Regional EHS Director, you will design, deploy, and champion the group’s Environment, Health, and Safety strategy across the production site. You will act as the ultimate guardian of our zero-accident culture, ensuring that global corporate safety standards and local environmental regulations are flawlessly integrated into our daily manufacturing processes.

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will define and execute the plant’s EHS roadmap to foster a robust, proactive safety-first culture across all production teams. You will oversee occupational hazard assessments, implement global safety standards, and ensure strict compliance with local labor laws and international certifications such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Additionally, you will lead thorough incident root-cause investigations, manage environmental sustainability and waste management programs, coordinate the emergency response teams, and closely monitor EHS KPIs to report progress directly to both local plant management and global corporate headquarters.

State-certified Engineer’s Degree or Master’s Degree specializing in Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, or Quality, Safety & Environment Management, with at least 5 to 8 years of solid EHS management experience in a demanding, fast-paced industrial environment (automotive, chemical or heavy industry), preferably within a multinational company; Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, certified ISO 14001/45001 Auditor) are highly valued; Absolute fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken) to participate in global corporate audits, regional meetings, and to report to international headquarters. Perfect command of French is also required.

You possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to influence behaviors across all organizational levels—from factory workers to executive directors. Your analytical rigor, resilience, and proactive approach to risk management will make you a vital partner in our plant’s operational success.
